Ian Stillie was elected to serve as Chief Executive of ZPN Energy in August 2018. Ian is an entrepreneur and business leader, with extensive experience in serving on the Board of Directors within various industries, including media, pharma, sport and software across international markets. Ian’s academic foundations incorporate an MBA from Strathclyde University, a degree in mining engineering from the University of Witwatersrand and a BSc in mining and petroleum engineering from Strathclyde University. Ian is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and FRSA.
Joe Keenan was appointed as Manufacturing Director for ZPN Energy in 2018. Joe has spent the last 30 years in various roles within different industries including printing, media, automotive and green technologies. Joe has extensive experience coordinating and delivering programs, developing product strategy, involving process manufacturing, quality assurance, processes optimisation, supply chain and procurement. Joe is responsible for manufacturing operations, including policy and procedures, focusing on maintaining health and safety standards.
Simon Hughes was appointed as Chief Technology Officer of ZPN Energy in 2018. Simon is leading the software technology development and digital transformation. As an expert in C, C++, C#, SQL Server, Security, IoT and Entity Framework Simon has over 30 years of software development experience and provides software architecture and development and design know-how. Simon is a published author for Pluralsight, Packt and a Microsoft Certified Professional, and taught MSDN courses for Capgemini Training.
Nick Rodgers was appointed as Chairman of ZPN Energy in 2016. He has a strong background in corporate finance and business, in technology, healthcare and the environment. Nick serves as director and founder of Productiv Limited, chairman of Destiny Pharma plc, director of Alcuris, and chairman of SEHTA. Previously, he held positions as chairman of Oxford BioMedica plc, Chief Executive of IPSO Ventures plc. Nick’s academic credentials include a bachelor’s in economics and history from the University of Leeds.
Yadu Szmulewicz became Head of Marketing & Venturing of ZPN Energy in 2020. Yadu has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing end-to-end marketing and go-to-market strategies across international markets, including management, new business development, strategic planning, sales, and operations. Yadu has worked extensively in USA, LATAM, India and China both as a corporate executive and in many consultancies’ roles. Yadu’s academic credentials include an MBA from Aston Business School, LLB and a B.A. in Marketing and Advertising. Yadu is also a member of the Bar associations both in Brazil and Portugal.
Anthony Colley was appointed Head of Finance for ZPN Energy 2020. Anthony has over 15 years of finance and accounting experience across various sectors, including Automotive, Aerospace and Green Technology. Anthony’s expertise is within management accounting reporting and budgeting. In addition to this, Anthony also has experience in successfully securing government-backed opportunities to support and finance businesses to drive them forward.
John Miller is an accomplished and internationally experienced business leader with a proven record of leading large-scale business development and transformational programs. Dr Miller has extensive experience in the Automotive and Polyester Film markets having held key positions in Sales & Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing and latterly Global COO of DuPont Teijin Films with responsibility for business operations in Europe, USA and China. Dr Miller was Chairman of the boards of DuPont Teijin Films Luxembourg S.A. and DuPont Teijin Films U.K. Ltd (2008-2019). He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Glasgow University followed by a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
