ZPN technology has been proven in a large scale project at Heathrow Airport back in 2017, funded through the Innovate Project. The idea was to provide charging where the grid supply was extremely limited but also charging that was rapid. The charging at the time was pretty much limited in these types of spaces to slow AC type fast charging. However ZPN revolutionised this by delivering charge on average to over 168 vehicles a day during the entire project test. This enabled ZPN Energy to develop our battery boosted rapid and ultra rapid electric vehicle charging technology and leads us to today where ZPN can guarantee 99% of the advertised charge rate 99% of the time when compared to grid tied chargers from any of the leading manufacturers .

ZPN Energy partnered with Heathrow Airport to deliver the fastest EV charging that had ever been seen up to that point. Forward to today we are developing systems that take the original philosophy and deliver it at megawatt speeds such as our project on the Thames.
