World First Vehicle to Vehicle HGV Charging

Based on the technology of ZAPME®, ZPN has led the world in the development of Vehicle to Vehicle charging for heavy goods vehicles. The system combines with the full range of DROP®and ZAPME® products to provide an integrated ecosystem. Whether it is for for the purposes of out of charge recovery or flexible on site charging.
The system is designed so that even in a multi drop scenario a truck could charge directly from another truck whilst it's unloading to allow it to return to its depot without the need to be recharged at a charging station. In addition it can also pair with a mounted ZAPME® unit on a second truck to enable that vehicle to get back quickly and safely without any loss of time due to out of charge scenarios.
In rescue vehicle events it was designed to enable a fire engine to continue to pump water without needing to be recharged. This new technology is an addition to the ZPN suite of charging products and is available to OEM and Vehicle builders as an option to their customers.
